Ingleton Primary School is 200 years old and the present building was built in 1967. It is set in the beautiful countryside of South West Durham, part of Teesdale.
Children come to this school from the surrounding villages and farms. The building has four classrooms with a specialised Early Years area and rooms for groupwork . There are very spacious grounds surrounding the school which are used for play, sport and gardening. The school overlooks farmland and the hills and dales beyond.
Our school is a very busy place. We provide a very varied programme of activities and events to support the teaching of the broad curriculum we offer.
