Primary Schools are now required to publish alongside their Performance Information a list of their childcare provision making it easier for parents to know what is available.
Ingleton CofE Primary School offers a range of childcare provision which we have listed below:
Ingleton Pre School
The Pre-School at Ingleton Church of England School was started in September 2012 to provide places for 3 and 4 year old children. We can currently take a maximum of 8 children per session and offer morning and afternoon sessions and full day provision Monday to Friday.
Scoolkids is a childcare organisation formed in 2003 to provide wrap-around care for pupils from Ingleton School. We are open from 8 am until 8.45am for Breakfast club and from 3.15pm until 5.30pm for After School Club. A regular half termly timetable of after school events and clubs is planned.
Breakfast Club: Scoolkids opens at 8.00am to provide breakfast and care for children when parents need to drop them off early.
After School Club: Scoolkids opens at 3.15pm to provide care and activities. The first hour is an organised activity session and during the second hour tea is served.
There are 2 members of staff: a manager and assistant. Other staff members are coaches and various helpers who help to provide extra activities.
Registration for Scoolkids can be done at each half term when a new timetable of activities is available. There is a wide variety of activities such as guitar lessons, sport, gymnastics, arts and crafts and cookery. Pupils can also relax and play games, read books, watch TV and do homework. Booking forms can be found in the School Office or Scoolkids room. Please ask a member of staff to help you.
A charge to parents is made for each hour of care and can be accessed and paid through Parent Pay. Details of charges can be found on the booking forms and by contacting the school.
Parents can contact the school during school hours if they would like to organise emergency care for just one session.
For further details and information please Contact the School. Alternatively you can also see the Scoolkids Manager, Mrs Kimberly Raper or the Scoolkids Assistant, Miss Emma Nichols.
